Our adopted dog NEMO

Last Tuesday, August 21, 2007 Nemo came into our life. A 2 year old american pitbull terrier. He's orphan with Mildly skin problems, a small tumor and a few tick which we manage to remove. We schedule his shots and deworming next week. He's getting better everyday. Very social with people and other pets especially martha.

At first Nemo strike us as a dog of power. With his brick-like head He looks so scary but when you look at his eyes you'll be enthralled. Martha and nemo looks the same. The other day, one of our neighbor saw nemo and asked my mom why we let martha stay outside. He never recognize the difference between the two. :)

Let me end this entry with:

The Top Reasons Why You Can't Trust Vicious Pit Bulls

10. They will steal your spot on the couch while you are up getting a soda.

9. They will take the treat you give them and bury in the back yard like a paranoid crack head hiding their stash.

8. They will jump on your bed with muddy feet. Making you do laundry...again

7. They will lick visitors with an uncontrolled passion only they understand.

6. They will cause children to smile.

5. They will make you feel horrible for not walking them by looking at you with deep sad eyes.

4. They will look at you like you committed a crime against them if you don't let them lick your ice cream bowl.

3. They will cause wide spread happiness in large group settings.

2. They will crack you up by shaking their butts so hard you think they are going to snap in half.

And the number one reason why you can't trust vicious Pit Bulls...

1. They will steal your heart like a thief in the night, showing you complete and pure love that only a Pit Bull can show.

hi gita! I hope ok ka na. nemo came as a suprise to us. we never plan on adopting ang balak namin eh ibreed na si martha sa december then yung puppies nya ibebenta tapos may matitira. yung napagbilhan eh ibibili namin ng iba pang breed. yun ang original plan. but god has a different plan for us and we gladly accepted it. :) pang apat na kami na nag apon kay nemo. yung mga nauna hindi sya naalagaan ng maayos kaya medyo di ok yung health nya. pinapagamot pa namin sya ngayon and were hoping na magiging ok din sya. hes very sweet and kind loking just like major. si major nga una ko naisip noong nakita ko sya eh. :)

You are totally awesome.... Its great that you adopted him... Trying to find homes for Pitts is very hard... They are prone to skin conditions...
If you don't mind I am printing out and posting your 10 reasons, It really discribes my furbabies....
I have 3 pit bulls right now (1 american and 2 stratfordshires) and have had 2 others in the past that lived to a ripe old age despite the world telling me how vicious and dangerous they are... The have gotten such a bad rap its nice to hear someone have something "really nice" to say about a pitt...
Thank you for sharing your talent with us less artistically inclined....

Rose (Craftymoom), Few people dare to make pitbulls as their pet. And for those brave ones, I salute them for not believing those malevolent stories. They are lucky to experience the pure love that only a Pit Bull can show.

Regarding the The Top Reasons Why You Can't Trust Vicious Pit Bulls, that's not mine. I got that from this site. http://www.pitbulllovers.com/vicious-pit-bulls.html It also describes my two pits that why I used it.
